Abdinasir Hirsi Abdi (Member IEEE: 97541484) holds a B.S. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, Pakistan, which he received in 2019. He also obtained an M.S. degree in electrical engineering, specializing in communication engineering, from Bahria University, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia. He currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) at the Advance Telecommunication Research Center (ATRC), FKEE, UTHM University, Malaysia. His research interests include SDN security, DDoS attack detection and mitigation, Cybersecurity, AI techniques such as Machine learning and deep learning techniques for network intrusion detection. He is an active reviewer for IEEE Access, having reviewed over 100 articles in related fields.
